Plaster Subtractive Sculpture

This is my plaster Subtractive sculpture. I started from a square and started craving away. I made a butterfly. I added some lines in the butterfly. It looks like a person to me but it's okay. .

Tempera Batik

This is my Tempera Batik.I drew with chalk and then painted around the chalk lines with the colors of my choosing.

In the first picture, that when I didn't put the ink on it. The second picture is after I out the ink on it. I wanted to little quotes on it that goes with the theme of the artwork. In the third picture that was jut a sketch of what I was going to be doing.

Stained Glass Window

This is my stained glass window. I chose the tree because it was simple and it was my first time doing this type of artwork. So, I wanted to do something simple to start of with. To me this came out great, better than I imagine. I love how the colors over lap each other to bring out the greatness of it.

This is my portrait. This is suppose to be beyonce The hardest thing for me was everything specially the fingers.

My Bas-Relief

This is my bas-relief, if you cant see it very well. I drew the flowers that i always draw and i added dots to it.

                                 This is my facial drawing.the face is cricket but i did my best. I'm not good at drawing faces.

Art Critique

    This artwork is a young girl, who is in the ocean with fish. The girl is wearing a over-sized big white T-shirt. Five orange fish. You can see that the sky is a gray sky.I feel like this artwork is trying to tell you that she's straining to keep up in life. As you see, that her faces looks like she's going through somethings, because she isn't happy or smiling in the artwork.This artwork is by Zhongwen Yu.
   In this artwork, the artist uses a lot of gray and white. He uses orange but not a lot of it. The detailing in this artwork is very detailed. The water, it shows very much details like, it shows where her body was put into the water. The fish is very detailed also, you can see the lines on where the fish goes from light to dark orange.
   I think the artist is trying to get people to understand that, you may have bad days, but that don't  mean flow around and pout. You have  to do something about it. It doesn't matter what you do to get back back on track, don't let no one in your way, bring you down. Just keep doing you and only you.
  To me, this is a great painting. The colors go great with the painting.The lining is perfect. The detailing on the water, is prefect, like it actually looks likes real water. I like how the fish in the both right corner has more detailing, like it shows the face of the fish.
